Edisto

Our lovely trip to Edisto started out just right.  Oh by the way, the traffic on 17 is so bad, you could not pay me to go down that road ever again!! Be glad you're missing it!  Despite that, our trip started out just right.
We enjoyed the scenic ride...

And some things will never change.

We stopped at Kings market to pick up a nutritional dinner of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and walnut brownies. Mmm! We did finally decide we should eat some real food and so we bought one of the best shrimp and crab casserole pie things that I have ever had. Despite it's grotesque appearance on the plate, it was delicious.

Upon our arrival, we noticed some Grandma additions to the decor. Can you spot the Grandma extras in the hutch cabinet?

Then we read a little, walked a little, danced a little, and found a jelly fish.

We had a relaxing evening with our yummy dinner.  Mom and I started a puzzle and after an hour or two I threw my hand up in disgust and walked away.  Mom stayed up until midnight working only to find that there were about 30 missing pieces.

We had a nice sunrise with coffee and music...

We had breakfast at The Sea Cow or "Cow-piles" as Grandaddy has begun calling it.  Once we got back to the little house, it got dark.

And you know what? It rained!! We drove all the way home in a big rain storm. Awe geez! And we were stuck yet again in 17's awful traffic. Hmph!!

That concludes our Edisto day. We wish you could have joined us in the festivities!

P.s. How come y'all never told me about Vicars of the top 10?
